Until recently, most prepaid carriers have lacked smartphone options and appropriate plans for heavy data usage. Boost Mobile is one of the first companies to accommodate prepaid customers who want to upgrade their hardware and take advantage of the same level of service typically tied to yearly contracts. The plan will contrast sharply with T-Mobile’s prepaid services, Common Cents and Straight Talk, by offering smartphones. More >
