Photos of what seems to be a pre-production HTC Spark have appeared thanks to a member of the XDA Developers forum. Fishawy posted multiple photos of the device, both running and otherwise. HTC’s HD7 smartphone has reportedly resurfaced in another inventory system with a launch date of October 18. The latest leak, posted by WMPoweruser, appears to show an inventory screenshot for O2′s German branch.
The listing shows pricing set at 79 (~$ 103 USD) when the handset is tied to a two-year contract priced at 20 (~$ 26 USD) per month. Without a service contract, the price jumps all the way up to 559 (~$ 729 USD).

Full specs of HTC’s Mozart revealed

A tipster has provided WMPowerUser with some new footage of the upcoming HTC Mozart in action, but also revealed its specs for the first time. According to the source, a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 powers the device. The CPU is coupled to 512MB ROM and 576MB RAM. It comes equipped with only 8GB of onboard storage, yet there is no mention of memory expansion slots at this stage. It also sports a 3.7-inch 800×400 Super LCD display supplied by Sony in place of HTCs previous preference for AMOLED displays.

Verizon page hints Droid X getting Android 2.2 soon

A hidden page on Verizon’s official Droid marketing page hints that the long delayed Android 2.2 upgrade for the Motorola Droid X might be ready to launch soon. The mobile-optimized site discovered today refers to the upgrade as having launched and recaps a brief number of features, such as support for Flash 10.1, automatic updates and more rotation. No timestamp exists to confirm if the release is close, but its existence implies Verizon is getting ready; it was posted on September 10.

HTC to show off Desire HD, Z in London next week?

Some clues in the form of leaked MMS XML templates may reveal what HTC will unveil at a press conference scheduled for September 15 in London. According to TheUnwired, it may bring out the Desire HD and Desire Z smartphones. The new leaks confirm that both will share an 800×480 resolution for their touchscreens and that the HD will be a touch-only device.
