Plans for a version of the HTC Incredible S to show in the US may have been effectively greenlit on Saturday through a sighting in Verizon’s inventory system. An entry for an HTC63503, or “INCRD2,” has surfaced that points directly to a Droid Incredible 2 in the future. Engadget‘s insider didn’t have release clues, but devices often show when relatively close to an introduction.

BlackBerry Storm 3 still alive in Verizon’s system

Yet another leak from a Cellebrite machine shows that a BlackBerry Storm 3 will soon arrive at Verizon. Thanks to Phone Arena, this latest leak suggests the 9570 is back from the dead, and an earlier report hints that the device may be out in October or November.
The Cellebrite devices, such as the one shown here, load a carrier’s software onto devices. Preliminary specs for the latest Storm handset include a capacitive touchscreen, BlackBerry 6, 512MB of RAM and a five-megapixel camera.

Cisco shows Umi video conferencing system for HDTVs

Cisco has introduced its ūmi telepresence video conferencing system for existing HDTVs on Wednesday. It is made up of a 1080p camera module, dedicated remote, and a set-top box. The setup can deliver 1080p video calls with 720p recording at 30fps, but can reduce quality to 720p/480p as needed when bandwidth is at a premium.

BlackBerry Style shows in videos, Sprint marketing system

The BlackBerry Style clamshell handset has shown up in Spanish-language videos thanks to PoderPDA. Embedded below, the first video shows the device’s hardware while the second one delves deeper into the BlackBerry 6 OS. The Style in the videos has firmware v6.0.0.203 firmware preloaded.
At the same time, a leaked Sprint marketing images screen courtesy of CrackBerry revealed that the provider is readying to release some promotional materials of the handset. Traditionally, this indicates a handset is very near release, with a projected November launch at Sprint. Verizon is also considered likely in a similar timeframe.

Creative’s Sonos-style wireless audio system revealed by FCC

Creative is near launching a wireless audio system in the vein of a Sonos ZonePlayer, an FCC filing uncovered today. The Sound Blaster Wireless MultiPlay discovered by Engadget would attach directly to a PC and share its audio over 2.4GHz RF wireless to stereo speakers through receivers adround the house. A Wireless Touch Controller would, much like Sonos’ CR100, give owners a way of steering music away from the computer.
