NoDo update for HTC HD7, Mozart surfaces

While owners of HTC’s HD7 and Mozart devices still wait for a software update from Microsoft, unofficial builds have surfaced for both devices. The HD7 update and Mozart release, which were posted on the XDA-Developers forums, are both said to be based on the build number 7389, otherwise referred to as the NoDo update.
The hacked ROMs are expected to offer copy-and-paste functionality, an improved browser with HTML5 support, and other performance improvements and minor tweaks. It is unclear if the unofficial builds support the full range of carriers for each device.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 surfaces at FCC

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has surfaced at the FCC. The Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet is in for approval and it appears that device will be headed stateside soon. Its 3G radio includes support for the 850 and 1900MHz spectrum, meaning that it is compatible with US networks.
It carries the model number P7100, whereas that original 7-inch Galaxy Tab carries the P700 designation. The FCC has given the device approval to ship, however the price that it ultimately ships for will be of interest.

Palm Pre 2 surfaces in first live shots

HP’s upcoming Palm Pre 2 just received further confirmation today through a set of live images that confirm its existence. The design spotted by MobiFrance is superficially similar but appears to have a larger screen and several improvements to its design and build quality. Its front is now flat and ridged, and shouldn’t crack as easily; a charger door has also been pulled, and it may have a matte front.
