Gigabyte has started taking orders for its S108 dual-core 1.66Ghz Atom-powered Windows 7 tablet in Taiwan. The device has a has a 10.1-inch LED capacitive multi-touch panel with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. It comes standard with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and utilizes Intels GMA 3150 integrated graphics, while it features one USB 3.0 port in its array to deliver high-speed connectivity.

RCA ships pocket TVs with digital TV/Mobile DTV tuners

RCA has announced that it is ready to ship several portable TVs that can be used to watch digital TV broadcasts or Mobile DTV feeds. The offerings include three standalone models with 3.5- or seven-inch displays, along with a tuner for car infotainment systems. The larger DMT270R centers around a seven-inch LCD with 800×480 resolution, with a built-in battery claimed to extend past four hours of viewing.

NTT DoCoMo beats T-Mobile to LG Optimus Pad, ships March 31

NTT DoCoMo announced on Monday it will begin shipping the Optimus Pad L-06C tablet in Japan beginning on Thursday, March 31. NTT will be the first to offer the tablet, as T-Mobile hasn’t officially confirmed its own launch date. It was expected to arrive in the US as the G-Slate on March 23 but missed that date and is more likely to ship April 20.

INQ Cloud Touch goes up for UK pre-order, ships April 6

After rumors last September that INQ and Facebook were co-developing a mobile handset with deep Facebook integration, the INQ Cloud Touch was officially unveiled in early February. Slashgear reports that the phone, which puts Facebook front and center of its Android OS but which does not carry official Facebook branding, is now up for UK pre-order. It is expected to ship on April 6.

Nokia C7 edges closer to T-Mobile, ships at Wind Mobile

The Nokia C7 flagship smartphone has, once again, been spotted thanks to TMoNews in T-Mobile documents, though this time in the electronic inventory. A Frosty Metal version of the handset will be available at T-Mobile. The Symbian^3-powered phone has also received a ship date at Canada’s Wind Mobile, the carrier announced on Tuesday.
