Samsung 50-inch, 3D plasma dips below $1,000 at Best Buy

Samsung had the distinction of breaking the $ 1,000 price barrier for a 3D plasma TV as the PN50C490B3D has been dropped to $ 990 at Best Buy. The 50-inch TV only peaks at a 720p resolution and doesn’t include 3D glasses. Regardless, it produces a full 600Hz refresh rate that can handle the enhanced display and is smoother for 2D content as well.

After a week of painful teasing, Samsung has come clean about its Galaxy Tab 7-inch Android tablet. We got the nitty gritty specs, along with some quality time with the device, and we like what we’re seeing on both fronts.
