A newly leaked pricing sheet for a few upcoming smartphones at provider Verizon has shown up thanks to PhoneArena. Dates are also revealed, though they are the prices’ effective dates and not release dates for the handsets. A fresh leak suggests Verizon may be preparing to sell Motorola’s Droid Pro handset for $ 179, which would fall well below the $ 299 price tag hinted at in an earlier rumor. While the price appears to be slightly lower than expected for the high-end smartphone, the device will likely compete with Motorola’s own Droid 2 Global handset.
The Droid Pro is geared for business users, with a portrait QWERTY keyboard placed below a 3.1-inch, 320×480 touchscreen. Android 2.2 will be powered by a 1GHz processor, while global roaming capabilities should match that of the Droid 2 Global.

AT&T hikes markup pricing for early upgrades

AT&T has hiked its pricing structure for customers who want to upgrade smartphones ahead of schedule. Although customers previously could obtain a new device for the standard two-year price plus $ 75, the new rules now fetch the two-year price plus $ 200.

iPhone “definitely” coming to T-Mobile US, G2 pricing leaked

Persistent talk of an iPhone for T-Mobile USA gained a minor assist with a rumor this morning.
