Google snaps up BlindType for more accurate Android typing

Google today in a low-profile move bought BlindType, a startup based around touchscreen input. Neither company disclosed the terms of the deal or the intentions. BlindType nonetheless hinted that it would keep working on “mobile innovation” and implied that Android was the focus as a result.
The company had been working on a namesake app that automatically compensates for typing by gauging the intended key independently of where the actual keyboard might be. IE9 beta leak shows finished look, accurate browsing

Just over one week before the release of the public beta of Internet Explorer 9, a leak has shown what users can expect from the web browser. A short demo of the new browser is available in the video below by the source of the information, who says is in possession of the IE9 Beta installer. This follows an earlier leak of Microsoft Russia revealing a screenshot of the new browser.
